I’ve had a bit of time to speak with some of the guests from Saturday and can say the consensus is unanimous: it was a phenomenal evening! I can say though that several of the people in attendance go to many of what get termed ‘rubber chicken’ dinners where you put in your time, get your wallet out and support the cause, then go home. Two of these people told me this was the best event they had been to, bar none, and that is pretty amazing. Every detail seemed to be worked out from the parking to the lights to the food and drinks -the venue and entertainment were nothing short of spectacular!
